About Nature First Nepal

Nature First Nepal is an independent, non-profit making, non- political and non-governmental organization registered with the District Administration Office Kathmandu, Nepal and associated with the Social Welfare Council of the Government of Nepal. Nature First Nepal was founded by a team of dynamic professionals working in Natural Resource Management, Forestry, Environment, Socio economics, development and engineering sectors.

Nature First Nepal working in multidisciplinary field of awareness for sustainable environment, protection of forest, wildlife, biodiversity, health and climate change. This organization engages in study & research to identify current hot issues in environment, forest, biodiversity, wildlife, & climate change. Training new professionals and producing perfect human resources in conservation and protection of Natural Resource is also an important objective of this organization. The staffs and members of this organization are well trained professional from various backgrounds and the team reflects workforce diversity in terms of caste, ethnicity and gender.

Our mission is to build the leadership of young professionals in environment and natural resource management for organizational transformation through an innovative approach with motivated professional. Nature First Nepal provides skills in environment and natural resource management technologies, organizational change, negotiation, policy and decision-making, participation, advocacy and youth leadership to secure equal access to and control of resources and benefits to improve the livelihoods people.
